ARISTID · CASE STUDY

From website copy to a clearer US market proposition

ARISTID was preparing a new website for the US market. What began as an English-language content assignment quickly revealed a broader challenge: before deciding how to communicate the platform, we first needed to clarify how it should be positioned and explained to US retail technology buyers.

THE CHALLENGE

The challenge wasn't simply translating the existing story

ARISTID's platform had evolved, along with the range of capabilities it brought together. But there wasn't one simple category that explained what the company had become.

Stakeholder discussions reflected that complexity. Depending on the perspective, ARISTID could be described in terms of retail communications, workflow efficiency, personalization, AI, automation, data management or the technology connecting them.

The competitive landscape added another dimension. While many competitors occupied recognizable categories, ARISTID crossed several of them. The challenge was therefore not simply how to describe individual capabilities in English. It was how to explain where ARISTID fits, how the platform works as a whole and why that matters to US retail technology buyers.

THE OPPORTUNITY

Finding the space ARISTID could own

The competitive assessment revealed a fragmented US retail technology landscape. Many competitors occupied recognizable categories, while ARISTID combined capabilities that crossed several of them. That breadth was potentially a source of differentiation—but it also made the company harder to categorize and explain.

The challenge, therefore, wasn't simply to demonstrate that ARISTID was different. It was to find a clearer way to position that difference so prospective US buyers could understand where the platform fits, how its capabilities work together and why that matters.

ARISTID came to the project with a proposed sitemap and existing brand foundations. We reconfigured the site architecture and navigation to create a clearer journey for US buyers, then translated the resulting structure and positioning into messaging and English-language content across the core site.

The work extended across the homepage, platform and solution pages, role and segment content, customer success stories and company communications. Throughout, the objective was to connect ARISTID's capabilities more clearly to customer challenges, different decision-makers, proof points and business outcomes.

The content was also developed in coordination with the specialist agency responsible for SEO and GEO. We incorporated its search and discoverability direction while maintaining the positioning, messaging hierarchy and natural flow of the buyer story.

THE RESULT

A clearer foundation for US-market communications

What began as a website copywriting assignment became a broader exercise in positioning, market alignment, information architecture, content strategy and communications execution.

The project established a clearer framework for explaining where ARISTID fits, how its capabilities work together, what differentiates its approach and why that matters to US retail technology buyers.

The resulting foundation was designed to support not only the new website, but also future sales, marketing, partner and market expansion communications.

COLLABORATION

For some projects, the right approach
is a team

I work independently on many assignments. For projects that benefit from a broader mix of expertise, I can also bring together senior independent specialists through Rain, the collaborative team I co-founded in 2020.

ARISTID was one of those projects. Together, we worked from discovery and competitive analysis through positioning, website strategy, messaging and content development, in close collaboration with the ARISTID team.
